Five steps, one list, and no typing at a supermarket website. Here's the whole loop, including the bit that tells you which shop to send it to.

Tick what's run out
Walk the house with the checklist: kitchen, bathroom, laundry. Every item already knows which product you buy, so a tick is a decision made. About five minutes.
The list starts as yours, not a template: Restock reads your own supermarket order history when you sign up, so your brands and sizes are already in there.

Plan the week's meals
Tap through a photo library of dinners your family actually eats, or paste a recipe URL and Restock pulls the ingredients out for you. About two minutes. Ingredients you don't already have go straight onto the list; a quick pantry check keeps what you own off it.

One master list, real products, real prices
The checklist and meal plan land in one place. Every line resolves to an actual product at your supermarket, with its name, size and last price, so the total is honest before you spend a dollar. Don't mind which brand? Mark the item “buy the cheapest” or “best value per kg” and leave the decision to the shelf.

ShopOptimiser: which shop, this week?
If you'd collect from more than one supermarket, ShopOptimiser costs this exact list at each of them, using the same items, each store's shelf prices and pickup fees counted, then leads with the cheaper single shop. Split the trolley across two stores only when the saving genuinely beats the second pickup fee; when it doesn't, it tells you to stay put.
It only compares items it has a recent price for at both stores, and it always prints how many that was, because a store must never win just by knowing less. The comparison is free.

TrolleyFill: the cart fills itself
Hand the list to the Restock extension and watch it work through your supermarket's website, pausing when you say, swapping to your backup if something's out. Anything marked “cheapest” gets compared on the day's real prices and the winner goes in. About five minutes for a 64-item shop. It never pays; you always check out yourself.
Shopping in person instead? In Store Mode gives you big checkboxes to work the list down the aisles, free, always. Online, your first three fills are free, then it's $12 a month.

The expensive shop is the one you didn't plan.
Those 15 minutes replace an hour or more of clicking a supermarket site item by item, or a two-hour round trip to the shop. And the bill follows: six months of one Dunedin household's receipts came in at $516/week before Restock and $455/week after, on the same food, with one shopping trip a week instead of four. Your numbers will be your own, but a “quick dash” for milk walks out as an $80 bag in every house.
